The Secret

7 Nov

Does anybody remember that whole obsession with “The Secret” and how you can get whatever you want if you just focus intently and make dream boards and meditate?

One of the major components of “The Secret” is that the mind has a powerful amount of energy which somehow has an influence on the world. Meaning, if you are stressed out because you are late for work, your negative energy goes out into the universe and just makes you even later for work. According to this theory, things that are on your mind are more easily attainable and brought into being.

I always thought this was a bunch of bull, however after posting about running into my ex last week I’ll give you one guess as to what happened to me this morning…

You guessed it!

Ran into him again! And I’m convinced that its because I had blogged about him and sent some kind of energy mind power into the universe that conjured him and made me run into him again!

It’s either that or a conspiracy theory because of course last night I managed to bite my lip and looked like I either

A)  Got into some kind of a gang fight or

B) Was recently transformed into a vampire complete with blood trickle

To sum:

Next time I should blog about winning a billion dollars…

Ahh the power of The Secret
