Don’t Romanticize…ANALYZE

16 Nov

It’s no secret that I can be extremely, completely, utterly and totally lazy. If there was a way that I could get paid to be lazy and do nothing all day, I would be that company’s CEO- even if I am a woman.

I bring this up because I came across a MUST have item today that is exactly the type of gift I would be obsessed with and I want someone to buy it for me.

This is the description on the website- too true and too perfect:

Courtship is one of the oldest (and most confounding) customs known to man.  Now you can navigate the dating world with confidence and precision.  By chronicling the details of all your hits and misses, false hope will be a thing of the past!  Take it one date at a time!

This is a combination of the 2 things I love most in the world:

1) Being lazy

2) Making lists of things.

Seriously how hilarious is this?

Oh come on… guys rank girls all the time- now it’s our turn…

Soooo many times I have gone on multiple dates in the same week and I forget what I said to which guy among other more important facts that I never seem to recall. No one said Juggling was easy.

Miss Chocoholic always asks me the same questions after I go on a date and she can attest to the fact that I rarely remember the things guys tell me on dates.

Miss Choc: So what does he do?

Me: ummm…something with banks? Or maybe he said he sold Spanx?

Miss Choc: Where did he go do school?

Me: ummm he told me but I wasn’t really listening…

Miss Choc: SERIOUSLY woman!

Honestly this note pad would help me in so many ways! I can write down how I felt right after I got home from the date, include any other important info that I would typically forget and then make a rational decision of whether or not he is worth my time and energy. Think of how much this could improve my blog!!!

It’s PERFECT!!!!!

To sum:
I must own this notepad…hint hint…

Nevermind waiting until you get home, whip it out during the date. He’ll try harder knowing he’s being judged 😉 Or more likely, he’d think you’re nuts. Hmm, exit strategy?

YES! I can see it now… “you don’t mind if I jot down a few notes do you?”
Definitely an experiment I need to try out ASAP

If it will enhance your reporting of ridiculous stories, I’ll gladly acquire one for you. In today’s world, $6.99 is a large sum of money, especially for a poor girl like you 😉 . How can I arrange to get it to you?

Although you are right in saying $6.99 is a large sum of money and rude in assuming that I am too poor to afford a note pad…It has nothing to do with the price, as I said before- Its about being lazy.
Oh and I also love gifts

Notice the winking smiley. It was a joke. Perhaps you are joking too about my being rude, since you are also agreeing that $6.99 is a large sum of money. Printing that out is such a simple solution. Why didn’t I think of that? Of course, you have to fight your laziness and click the print button…

You’re right…maybe I can get someone to click FOR me!! Ideal situation 🙂
